Purpose

The meeting is intended to provide a forum for Member States to exchange information, and share knowledge and experiences on the safety issues of research reactors of common interest within the Asia and the Pacific region, including in particular:

• Operation radiation protection and waste management
• Updating of safety documents
• Peer review of the radiation protection programme at the Thailand Research Reactor-1
• Review of the actions taken by the Member States in implementing 2016 RASCAP meeting recommendations
• Developing the work plan of the RASCAP for 2018
